We help marine, environmental and sustainability organisations communicate complex science through powerful visual media.
Trusted by marine science and conservation organisations
We transform complex marine and environmental science into stories that inform, engage and inspire action — combining scientific authority with cinematic craft.
Grounded in over two decades of marine science, field research and real-world environmental projects. We speak the language of science and translate it for the world.
Combining high-end documentary filmmaking, drone operations, underwater cinematography and editorial expertise to produce media that moves people.
Every project is designed to do more than look good. We help organisations secure funding, build public trust, drive policy and accelerate conservation outcomes.
"With the right technology, energy security and marine ecosystems can coexist."
Scientists from SeaGen Aquaculture and Offshore Biotechnologies have cultivated over 100 sponge species from 80 metres below the surface, using coral restoration techniques — ready for deployment on artificial reefs in Apollo Marine Park.
Unlocking the secrets of how marine sponges work — their extraordinary chemistry, ecological roles, and potential as a source of life-saving medical compounds and biodiversity infrastructure.
Offshore Biotechnologies Media was created to solve one of the most persistent challenges in environmental science: the gap between what researchers know and what the world understands.
The division combines the marine science expertise and environmental credibility of Offshore Biotechnologies with the filmmaking and production capabilities of Streamline Media — creating a specialist communications brand built on genuine scientific authority.
Unlike traditional production companies, we begin with the science. Every project starts with deep engagement with the researchers, the data, the field conditions and the conservation goals.
Marine biology, ecology, ocean restoration, blue economy

"Sponges are extraordinary creatures. They've existed since before the dinosaurs, forming intricate relationships with microorganisms that make them a rich source of life-saving compounds."
A complete suite of scientific communications and media production services for marine, environmental and sustainability organisations.

We translate complex marine and environmental science into clear, compelling narratives — for funders, policy makers, media and the public. Grounded in scientific accuracy, designed for human understanding.

From short-form field films to broadcast-quality documentary features, we produce cinematic environmental content that puts science at the centre — not as a backdrop, but as the story itself.
Production services for offshore energy, aquaculture, fisheries and maritime industries who need credible, safety-conscious environmental communications for regulators, investors and communities.

We take peer-reviewed science, field data and research findings and turn them into accessible stories for non-specialist audiences — preserving rigour while building engagement.
End-to-end campaign production for conservation causes, sustainability initiatives and environmental NGOs — creating content that moves people from awareness to action.
Media and communications support for government agencies and non-government organisations managing marine parks, environmental programs and public consultation processes.
Purpose-built media packages to support grant applications, funding acquittals and impact reporting — making the science legible and the case compelling for funding bodies.
Specialist field production with professional underwater camera systems and drone operators — capturing footage in the most challenging marine environments with safety and scientific precision.

Underwater, field and portrait photography for research institutions, environmental organisations and publications — editorial-quality imagery that brings marine science to life.
Science education media for universities, schools and public institutions — building ocean and environmental literacy through engaging, curriculum-aligned content.
All editorial content sourced from Offshore Biotechnologies — science-first storytelling from the frontline of ocean restoration.
Scientists from SeaGen Aquaculture and Offshore Biotechnologies have successfully cultivated over 100 species of marine sponges in preparation for the offshore energy boom. Sponges were collected from 80 metres below the surface and reproduced using coral restoration techniques at SeaGen's hatchery on Phillip Island. The cultivated sponges will be deployed onto artificial reefs in the Apollo Marine Park.
